Rocky Point's tides change the beach dramatically twice a day. At low tide, Cholla Bay drains to reveal tide pools full of crabs, snails, and small fish. At high tide, the water comes back in and is better for wading and swimming. Check the Puerto Peñasco tide chart before you plan the day. Kids love the low tide pools most.
