Know the Basics Before You Fish
- License: Mexico requires a recreational fishing license from CONAPESCA, and on a boat it is commonly required for everyone aboard when fishing gear is present.
- Tides: Rocky Point's huge tides drive the fishing. Many local anglers prefer the incoming tide. See our tide chart.
- Bringing fish home: declare all fish at the U.S. border. See our Lukeville border guide.
